‘Allo ‘Allo

Beverley Theatre Company invites you to come and enjoy its amateur production of ‘Allo ‘Allo and the adventures of hapless cafe owner, Rene and other characters made famous in the television series and the West End. Spend an evening full of comedy, double entendre and such character phrases as “Good moaning” and “Listen very carefully, I will say this only once" !
So back to wartime occupied France, where Rene and his wife have stashed a priceless portrait in a sausage in their cellar, where two British airmen are also hiding until the Resistance can repatriate them. News that the Fuhrer is scheduled to visit the town inspires tricksters disguised as Hitler to frequent the cafe. Meanwhile Rene summons all the wit he can muster to save his cafe and his life!
The play will be performed with kind permission from Samuel French Ltd, at 7.30pm, Beverley Memorial Hall, Lairgate (including licensed bar) from Wednesday 11th November until Saturday 14th November. Tickets are priced £7 for Adults and £6 for concessions and are available on the door or from Beverley Tourist Information Centre, 34 Butcher Row and Haller Shoes, 2 North Bar Within, Beverley.
Beverley Theatre Company is keen to keep amateur theatre alive in Beverley and would be delighted if you would like to tread the boards with us or help backstage. Please contact us at thebeverleytheatrecompany@gmail.com or ring Angela, Membership Secretary on 07856 253311
